The Old Macaroni in Morzine is full of imagination and charm, and the views over the village and mountains are astounding. It's designed around families, with a Harry Potter-style bedroom and private cinema, while the hot tub and barrel sauna will tempt you after long days on the slopes.

The Old Macaroni in Morzine is full of imagination and charm, and the views over the village and mountains are astounding. It's designed around families, with a Harry Potter-style bedroom and private cinema, while the hot tub and barrel sauna will tempt you after long days on the slopes.
The Old Macaroni features book-themed bedrooms, a cinema, outdoor deck, hot tub and a glass fronted barrel sauna with one of the best views in Morzine.
The entrance to the chalet has beautiful features from the original farmhouse and there is a large boot room. You'll find an open-plan kitchen overlooking a large dining room and there is a further seating area on this level, which is perfect for a relaxing cup of coffee or a separate dining area for children.
A beautiful spa treatment room is located on this level, which has been cleverly designed to offer further accommodation. A hidden full double bed, with proper mattress, can be lowered down to create a further bedroom for larger groups/families.
The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway provides the inspiration for the first bedroom. A sumptuous turquoise velvet bed and touches of blue give this bedroom a bright but calm atmosphere. As with each bedroom, there is a bespoke en-suite bathroom, this one with glass taps and a shower integrated with lighting.
Upstairs, the view of Morzine village from the lounge will take your breath away. The upper level of the chalet comprises of the main living area, as well as three bedrooms. Glazed bi-folding doors open one entire side of the lounge to take in the most spectacular view of Morzine, including the church, the whole valley and Pleney and Nyon pistes. The lounge also features a grand piano and a beautiful log burning stove. The bi-folding doors open up onto a balcony that wraps around the chalet and offers the perfect spot from which to watch the weekly Pleney fireworks display and torchlight descent during winter.

The third bedroom, inspired by All Men are Mortal, has a true boutique hotel feel to it. It is open to a huge shower and dressing room; and sliding glass doors open onto a private balcony with stunning views across the valley. Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak lends itself to the ornate fourth bedroom, which has a beautiful, large en-suite shower room.
A mezzanine level has been designed to offer an exciting children's room, but can cleverly accommodates adults as well. The Harry Potter style room has four beautiful built-in cabin beds, each with their own curtains for privacy. Each of these beds is a full-size double bed with proper mattress. The mezzanine is close to the living room, allowing adults to keep an eye on children as they play upstairs. There is lots of room for kids to play with toys, watch TV or read any of the many books from the bookcase.
Further entertaining space can be found in the lower level of the chalet, where you will find the cinema. Tiered seating and art deco lighting are reminiscent of traditional movie halls, but the bright pink and purple velvet seating give it a luxurious modern twist. The state-of-the-art integrated surround sound and screen evoke the real cinema feel. Huge custom made bean bags provide extra seating to get cosy and enjoy a film.

- The spa treatment room has a hidden double bed, allowing this space to be used as a bedroom instead of a treatment area, if preferred. This room has a shower and a sink in the room, plus a WC next door.
- Our occupancy rating of 12 is based on the four bedrooms and one person sleeping in each of the four double beds on the mezzanine level. An extra six people can be catered for if the mezzanine level is fully occupied with two people in each bed and the treatment room is used as a double bedroom.
