The chalet has been designed to create a cosy, convenient and stylish "home from home" in this luxury Alpine chalet. The Retreat was created by Beth and Graham Smith. After 5 years of hard work on a derelict 300-year-old Savoyard farmhouse, The Retreat luxury chalet in Morzine came to life. Since then, we have holidayed there every year, both for winter ski holidays and for summer mountain bike holidays. Why? For us, there is nowhere like it. It gives our holiday the perfect mix of rural and town life and was designed to encompass all the things that make our stays feel luxurious and special. A huge amount of love and passion went in to creating The Retreat luxury chalet, Morzine. We hope you can feel some of that when you stay there. The Retreat luxury chalet is located in Morzine, Portes du Soleil, one of the most easily accessed regions in the Alps. At just one hour's drive from Geneva Airport, getting away for a luxury holiday in the French Alps couldn't be easier! In a beautiful rural hamlet, surrounded by traditional Alpine chalets and farmhouses and with a mountain river flowing past the end of the garden, The Retreat luxury chalet is just minutes from the traditional Alpine village of Morzine. Your resort driver is available to transport guests to the lift station in the comfort of an 8 seater minibus after breakfast and until 10.00 am each morning. The driver will also be available from 4 pm each evening to collect guests from the lift station back the chalet. He is also on call each evening until 12.00 midnight if you would like to venture into central Morzine for an after dinner drink.
